Azerbaijan's boxer Alfonso Dominguez has achieved this success.
Our representative in the weight category of 81 kg defeated the Russian athlete Imam Khatayev in the quarterfinals.
This victory was enough to qualify for both the semifinals and Tokyo 2020.
Thus, the number of licenses of our national team for Tokyo 2020 has reached 26. Dominguez is the third boxer on this list. Until then, Tayfur Aliyev (57 kg) and Javid Chalabiyev (63 kg) also had this right.
