Today, information on the social network was released that some graves in the Alley of Martyrs in Baku had been broken and there were no pictures on them, Population Service Trust under the Baku City Department of Housing and Communal Services told APA.
The bodies of 23 unknown martyrs buried in the first Alley of Martyrs and 9 buried in the second Alley were exhumed based on the presentation of the Military Prosecutor's Office of Republic and the Decision of the Baku Military Court dated June 3, 2021
The prosecutor's office conducted exhumation with the participation of a forensic expert and provided relevant samples for medical and genetic investigation.
Necessary measures are being taken to define the identities of the bodies with the participation of the Republican Military Prosecutor's Office and relevant territorial prosecutor's offices.
