It has been revealed in which exceptional cases teenagers at the age of 16-18 will be vaccinated with mRNA Pfizer (Comirnaty) against COVID-19 in Azerbaijan, Ministry of Health said as a response to APA's query.
Teenagers, who study abroad and suffer from chronic diseases, are considered while speaking about exceptional cases.
Note that according to the decision of the Scientific Medical Council of Ministry of Health and Scientific Committee of TABIB, in exceptional cases, teenagers at the age of 16-18 will be vaccinated with mRNA Pfizer (Comirnaty) against COVID-19 in the Republic of Azerbaijan.
Written application of one of parents and written consent of both parents will be required for vaccination of teenagers at the age of 16-18 by indicating reason for the vaccination. Vaccination of teenagers at the age of 16-18 will be conducted in Baku Health Center in a centralized manner.
