Presidential aide commented on issue of reopening of metro

“The suspension of public transport on weekend and metro are connected with each other”, said Assistant to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan - Head of the Department of Economic Issues and Innovative Development Policy Shahmar Movsumov at the briefing of the Task Force under the Cabinet of Ministers, APA reports.

He noted that the factor number one that impacts spreading of virus in all countries is people’s movement: “Therefore, the practice of suspension of transport is used in many countries. We also have to do this. Today, the reopening of metro is not discussed because most infection cases may occur in metro”.
