"Unfortunately, Armenia is still falsifying the history at every step. We are also witnessing falsifications about Azerbaijani lands and Karabakh," said President Ilham Aliyev as he made a speech at the international conference under the motto “South Caucasus: Development and Cooperation” held at ADA University, APA reports.
Citing concrete examples of the falsification of the Armenian side, the head of state said: “I must say that such a false historical policy lasted 5-6 years, and even after that they added new parameters. In other words, they even officially change the names of Azerbaijani cities with fake Armenian names. For example, they began to call the city of Shusha "Shushi". "The name 'Shushi' has never existed in history and I don't even know what 'Shushi' means."
