The State Border Service of Azerbaijan Republic have detained 3 people who tried to smuggle 73 kg of drugs across the border, the press service of the State Border Service (SBS) told APA.
On February 7, on the service territory of the Goytepe border detachment of the SBS Border Troops in the border strip near the Abbasaly village of Yardimli region, border guards noticed 4 unknown persons. The trespassers ignored the order to stop and fled the scene.
While inspecting the territory, the border guards found and seized substances weighing 73 kg, resembling drugs and psychotropic substances.
Border violators - residents of Yardimli region Heydarli Orkhan Nizami oglu (born 1991), Sultanov Eldeniz Arzuman oglu (born 1991) and Sultanov Orkhan Anver oglu (born 1996) were detained. The search for the fourth violator of the border continues.
