Deniz Baykal was taken to the hospital with a complaint of high fever and malaise, APA's local bureau reports.
After the tests, Influenza virus was found in Baykal. While the treatment started with serum intervention in Baykal, the state protocol also received continuous information.
Health Minister Fahrettin Koca visited Baykal in the hospital yesterday afternoon. President Recep Tayyip Erdogan also wished Baykal to have a phone call.
It was learned that Baykal’s health condition was improving.
