“There will be no PKK in northern Iraq,” said Turkish Defence Minister Hulusi Akar, APA reports.
He said the combat would continue until the last terrorist was neutralized.
Responding to the question that “Is there a risk of confrontation of Turkey with Russia?”, Minister noted that whether it is the presence of NATO in Iraq, or US-Russian relations, or the Mediterranean or the Black Sea - the international diplomacy, political and security environment in the region is extremely dynamic.”
“Therefore, as a state of the Republic of Turkey, we assess all of these participants, factors day and night in order to protect rights and benefits of our noble people in this dynamic environment and we perform for protection of a right, the benefit of our citizen, we will continue to perform. There is a dynamic environment. We have to be all eyes and ears,” stressed H. Akar.
