A building collapse one week ago in central China killed 53 people, state media reported Friday, as the search of the large pile of debris ended after rescuers found 10 survivors, said state broadcaster CCTV, APA reports.
Reported that search and rescue operations have been completed.
Note that earlier 26 people died.
Recall that incident took place on April 29 in the morning.
The building housed shops, restaurants, and a small hotel.
On April 30, authorities said 23 people were trapped in the rubble and about 40 were missing.
