The Bank of Korea (BoK) stated on Wednesday in its report to the National Assembly that inflation has already put a lot of pressure on prices and that it may "intensify further down the road, APA reports citing Tele Trader
"In particular, inflation pressure will likely intensify down the road through wages," the report read. "We have determined that the need has arisen to implement policy responses that stabilize these inflation expectations in a way that makes sure the effect of inflation shocks does not last for long."
