American coffeehouse chain Starbucks Corp. announced on Friday it has reopened two-thirds of its stores in China following the end of the two-month-long coronavirus-related lockdown in Shanghai, APA reports citing Teletrader.
"This week, Starbucks Partners in China celebrated the reopening of 600 of our 900 stores in Shanghai, including the Shanghai Roastery to mobile and to-go orders. After more than two months of lockdown, excited customers offered kind words and smiles in lines down the street," the company shared in a Twitter post.
Starbucks also added that it would continue reopening the rest of the stores in the upcoming weeks.
