Turkish President: Catastrophe of the century put the elections on the back burner

“This disaster, that we named catastrophe of the century, caused for human and property loss in our 11 cities. Although the magnitude of the disaster and the severity of the weather put us in difficulty, we as a state came to the aid of our people. More than 47 thousand of our citizens lost their lives. More than 115 thousand citizens were rescued injured. I once again wish Allah’s mercy on our deceased citizens, and wish patience to their loved ones,” noted the President.
