Gilan Holding being one of the country’s largest holdings has donated AZN 1.000.000 to the Fund for Support to the Armed Forces of the Republic of Azerbaijan in order to support our army waging fight on the frontline.
“The confident victories obtained in the fights waged for defense of our country’s territorial integrity and liberation of our occupied lands under leadership of our Supreme Commander-in-Chief Mr. Ilham Aliyev have turned into main topic of discussion in the world community and mass media during the recent days. The heroism and bravery of Mubarizes serving in our army, our people’s unity and the echo of our historic victories are spreading all over the world. We feel proud of the glorious Azerbaijani Army! We congratulate our people on this occasion, we wish successes to everybody who participate in our historic mission!”, Gilan Holding stated.
We announce for your information that Gilan Holding pays 2-fold salary to its employees called in the ranks of the army by the State Service for Mobilization and Conscription. This will be continued during the period of military service of those employees.
Note that the Fund for Support to the Armed Forces was established by the Decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated August 17, 2002 in order to ensure development of our Armed Forces at the level of contemporary requirements, to strengthen its material and technical base and to finance necessary social measures.
