On January 18-19 of this year, a meeting of the Azerbaijan-Iran joint intergovernmental commission will be held in Tehran, said the ambassador of Iran to Azerbaijan Abbas Mousavi during his meeting with the president of Azerbaijan Confederation of Entrepreneurs Mammad Musayev, APA-Economics reports.

According to the ambassador, the meeting will contribute to the development of economic relations between the countries.

Mousavi noted that Tabriz Chamber of Commerce and Industry is interested in holding a joint conference with Azerbaijan Confederation of Entrepreneurs, He stated that there are wide opportunities for establishing relations with the companies operating in the regions bordering Azerbaijan and at the same time, they are preparing for holding specialized exhibitions. The ambassador also proposed to establish joint companies in order to transport Iranian products by land, railway, and sea.
