“Construction of five additional compressor stations will be necessary to increase annual transmission capacity of the Trans-Anatolian Natural Gas Pipeline up to 31 bln. c/m”, General Manager of the TANAP Saltuk Duzyol told APA-Economics in Ipsala.
Remind that TANAP is connected with Trans-Adriatic Pipeline (TAP) in Ipsala (Turkey-Greece border).
According to S. Duzyol, construction of two compressor stations will be required in order to increase transmission capacity of the gas pipeline up to 24 bln.c/m, while additional 3 compressor stations to increase up to 31 bln. c/m.
Note that increase of TANAP’s transmission capacity up to 24 bln. c/m is planned for 2023, 31 bln. c/m for 2026.
