SOCAR will restore oil transportation through Baku-Novorossiysk pipeline this week, APA-Economics reports citing SOCAR.
The transportation of oil via the pipeline has not yet been resumed, but the company will start the transportation process.
It should be noted that SOCAR halted oil transportation in the direction of Baku-Novorossiysk in March of this year due to considered construction and control works in the pipeline.
SOCAR transported about 1.3 mln. tones of oil through Baku-Novorossiysk pipeline previous year. This indicator was 1.5 mln. tones in 2017. It has been mentioned Baku-Novorossiysk pipeline is expected to export 1.5 mln. tones of oil.
The length of the Baku-Novorossiysk pipeline is 1.147 km. the length of its Azerbaijan segment is 231 km, and the Russian segment is 916 km.
