Azerbaijan produced oil products worth AZN 895,300,000 in January-April 2017, down 7.9% from previous year.
According to State Statistical Committee, gasoline production made up 413,900 tonnes, up 12.2% compared to a year ago. Finished products stood at 48,300 tonnes.
Diesel production fell 19.4% to 625,500 tonnes (finished product – 61,700 tonnes), kerosene production declined 8.2% to 199,800 tonnes (finished product – 11,200 tonnes), oil bitumen production rose 35.4% to 40,900 tonnes (finished product – 11,000 tonnes), and lubricating oil production ascended 3.5-fold to 7,300 tonnes (finished product – 7,300).
In the reporting period, 68,800 tonnes of petrol for petro-chemical industry were produced, up 14.1% by contrast to a year earlier. Finished product made 1,000 tonnes.
Moreover, Azerbaijan produced 230,500 tonnes of furnace oil, down 35.2% from 2016 (finished products – 9,200 tonnes). As of May 1, 2017, petroleum coke production rose 37% to 60,400 tonnes (finished product 19,900 tonnes).
