Kremlin has commented on ban of fruit and vegetable import from Azerbaijan and Armenia, APA’s Moscow correspondent reports.

Kremlin’s spokesperson emphasized that this issue has nothing to do with Kremlin.

According to him, the ban on fruits and vegetables is under the authority of the profile body, not the Kremlin: “Of course, all this is done in cooperation with the Cabinet of Ministers. There are accurate criteria for making these decisions. As you know, these decisions were made in the context of a pandemic on viruses. Of course, special attention is paid to this. That is why that organization has no duty to coordinate its activities with the Kremlin.”

Note that Rosselkhoznadzor has banned the import of tomatoes and apples from Azerbaijan and tomatoes and peppers from Armenia.
