Russian armed forces have shot down a Ukrainian MiG-29 flying over the Dnipropetrovsk region of central Ukraine, a spokesperson for the Russian ministry of defense, Igor Konashenkov, announced on Saturday, APA reports citing Teletrader.
The aircraft was converted to use American high-speed anti-radiation missiles (HARM), according to the ministry.
Additionally, "forty-two HIMARS and Vilkha multiple rocket launchers were destroyed in the air, as well as three HARM anti-radar missiles near Nova Kakhovka, Kherson region," the official said, adding that the Russian armed forces have, in just one day, shot down seven unmanned aerial vehicles.
