Simonyan: Moscow aggressively reacts to initiatives of other countries regarding Armenian-Azerbaijani normalization

Moscow reacts extremely emotionally and aggressively to the initiatives of other countries regarding Armenian-Azerbaijani normalization, the speaker of Armenian Parliament Alen Simonyan told journalists while commenting on the role of Moscow in the regulation of relations with Baku, APA reports citing Sputnik Armenia.

“Moscow has a role because Russian peacekeepers were stationed there. However, despite this I consider the emotional actions and nervous reactions from Moscow unnecessary when any party tries to do something positive. It's more emotional than it needs to be,” noted Simonyan.

Simonyan added that the reaction of Russian side should be calmer and restrained. According to him, Moscow should understand the situation.
