Visa and Stripe payment systems announced the suspension of servicing Bankoff virtual cards. The corresponding announcement was sent to all users of the service, APA reports citing Aroged.
Representatives of Bankoff claim that the main reason for the suspension of work was a large number of active users and transactions from Russia. At the moment, Bankoff cards are not supported for making any payments and transfers, and customer funds are frozen on a US account.
“Today we received a letter from Visa and Stripe stating that Bankoff cards service has been stopped due to a large number of active users and transactions from Russia. This means that our cards are no longer supported for any offline and online payments. We are currently trying to access funds that were frozen in our US account, please be aware that we are doing our best to resolve this issue.”
