Official representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia Maria Zakharova commented on the question that Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) did not send direct military aid to Armenia due to the tension on the border, but sent a mission to investigate the situation, APA's Moscow bureau reports.

Zakharova responds to the question of the Armenian journalist that CSTO's sending a special mission is an important opportunity for this organization to intervene.

"The second point is that I am sure that this question must not be addressed to Russia. Because, over the last two years, a lot of work was done in order to solve this outdated crisis by our country. These were not done on paper, they were done "on the spot". I understand that in such grave situations, everyone wants a magic stick to intervene and solve the problem. But this happens in fairy tales".
