Speaker of Council of the Republic of Belarus Natalya Kochanova has met with Azerbaijani Ambassador to Belarus Ulvi Bakhshaliyev, APA reports citing BelTA.
Kochanova has noted at the meeting that relations between two countries, which are based on friendship relations, are productive and close.
Ulvi Bakhshaliyevhas expressed gratitude in his turn to the Belarus side for decision on the erection of a monument to Nizami Ganjavi in Minsk.
Ambassador has added that the opening of the monument to Nizami Ganjavi will be held in Minsk soon.
