V Kharibulbul International Folklore Festival starts in Shusha today

Kharibulbul International Folklore Festival starts in Shusha, the cultural capital of Azerbaijan, today, APA reports.

The festival will last until May 14.

Note that the event will be held in accordance with the "Action Plan for the Year of Shusha" approved by the Cabinet of Ministers on February 25, 2022.

The fifth Kharibulbul festival to be held this year will feature musicians and dance groups from 10 foreign countries performing in different folk styles, as well as folk groups from different regions of Azerbaijan.

The International Music Festival held in Shusha and other Karabakh regions in May 1989-to 1991 was reorganized by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation in Shusha on May 12-13, 2021 after a 30-year break. The first festival held in 1989 has been dedicated to the 100th anniversary of Seyid Shushinsky.
