A group of Azerbaijanis cross into Moldova from Ukraine

"A group of Azerbaijan has left Ukraine due to the situation in the country and been able to cross into Moldovan territory," said Chairman of Congress of Azerbaijanis of Moldova Elchin Bayramov in his statement to internet television of State Committee on Work with Diaspora Diaspora TV on welcome and settlement of them, APA reports.

According to him, about 500 Azerbaijanis have crossed into Moldova over the recent three days:

"About 80-100 people gather and we arrange a car for them and they are brought to Chisinau. We find a place and accommodate the visitors together with the Azerbaijani Embassy to Moldova. The embassy is currently dealing with visa problems for these people. There is a flight from Romania to Istanbul. "We have sent 25 people to Chisinau from this morning, and 10 more must come," he said.
