“Number of complaints related to elections has been sharply decreased in recent years. One of its reasons is awareness measures taken by us”, Chairman of the Azerbaijani Central Election Commission Mazahir Panahov said at press conference held today, APA reports.
Chairman of the CEC stated that transparency has been provided at the highest level: “If CEC receives an appeal on any unpleasant case, measures will be taken immediately in accordance with requirement of Election Code. CEC has not received any official appeal so far. However certain calls have been received through the Call Center. They have been technical by nature and immediately solved. We use all opportunities in order to solve unpleasant cases in favor of candidates, if there appear such kinds of cases.”
