"It became clear to all that status-quo will not be maintained for a long period of time. All saw that Azerbaijan does not intend waiting for a long period", said Minister of Foreign Affairs Jeyhun Bayramov at the press conference held today, APA reports.

J. Bayramov said that Azerbaijan is in favor of the political resolution of the conflict: "However, Azerbaijan has always a right to solve the conflict in military way. The situation will show soon that which way will be preferred by Armenia. Azerbaijan is determined to restore its legal rights, territorial integrity uniequivocally. It is clear to all that determination of the Azerbaijani people in this direction is very high. If anyone thought the conflict is already history, Azerbaijani people may approach it more patiently, overflowing of a bowl of patience became obvious to all. It became clear that maintenance of status-quo does not have a benefit to anyone."

Assistant to Azerbaijani President- Head of Foreign Policy Affairs Department of the Presidential Administration Hikmat Hajiyev noted that if negotiations are continued, there should be a concrete agenda and timeframe: "We should especially return to the documents, prepared in 1994-1995. There was a concrete timeframe in the document, prepared on the mandate of resolution of the UN Security Council #853, withdrawal date and month of Armenian troops were reflected there. Efforts of the Minsk Group should also be directed to it in order to remove a fact of occupation."
