At the meeting of the Azerbaijani Parliament that will be held on April 9, the new edition of the proposed change to the “Internal Statutes of the Parliament of the Azerbaijan Republic” will be brought for discussion in the second reading, APA reports.
Based on the draft law adopted in the first reading at the plenary meeting of the Azerbaijani Parliament held on March 30, in connection with the introduction of the quarantine regime, and implementation of sanitary and epidemiological and other similar measures, the Chairman of the Azerbaijani Parliament would adopt a decree to hold the meetings of the Azerbaijani Parliament, as well as the meetings of committees and commissions of the Azerbaijani Parliament by means of internet, in real time regime, for certain period based on requests of 42 deputies, and the voting at the meetings held in real time regime would be implemented by means of the deputies’ strengthened electronic signatures. In case of adoption of the law, it will be valid until December 30 of this year.
