All necessary steps are being taken in the direction of additional volume of Azerbaijani natural gas to Europe, works are continued in this direction, President of Bulgaria Rumen Radev told journalists in Chisinau, APA reports.
He reminded the journalists that President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev visited Bulgaria twice in 6 months.
Rumen Radev reminded that there is a project called Solidarity Ring to enable the supply of additional gas from Azerbaijan to Türkiye and Greece, Bulgaria, Romania, Hungary and Slovakia.
"So, we have combined the capabilities of our gas transportation networks and we are now taking all necessary steps to transport Azerbaijani gas to Central and Eastern Europe. This is an extremely important achievement for the EU's diversification of energy sources and energy security," said Rumen Radev.
