Azerbaijan’s Energy Minister Parviz Shahbazov met with Turkiye’s Energy and Natural Resources Minister Fatih Donmez within the framework of the meeting of energy ministers of Organization of the Turkic States in Hungary, Ministry of Energy told APA-Economics.
Gas transit through Turkiye, increasing transmission power of TANAP within the expansion of the Southern Gas Corridor, new opportunities for cooperation in the field of exploration and production of hydrocarbon deposits among SOCAR and BOTAŞ, TPAO, issues on the implementation of the Ighdir-Nakhchivan pipeline project were discussed at the meeting. It was noted that in near future, the construction of the part of the pipeline passing through Turkiye will be launched.
