Export of Shahdeniz gas increased by more than 18% in 2022

In 2022, 39 216,9 mln. cubic meters of gas was transported via Azerbaijan’s main gas pipelines, which is 11,7% more in annual comparison, State Statistics Committee told APA-Economics.

53% of gas transportation was implemented through the Baku-Tbilisi-Arzurum South Caucasus pipeline. The gas produced in the Shahdeniz gas-condensate field is exported through this pipeline.

Thus, in the reporting period, 20 803,7 mln cubic meters of gas were transported through this pipeline (18,08% growth in comparison to the indicator of 2021).Belə ki, hesabat dövründə bu kəmərlə mln. kubmetr qaz ötürülüb (2021-ci ilin göstəricisi ilə müqayisədə 18,08%-lik artım).
