In March-April this year, the number of managers who left Russia with one-way tickets increased sharply, APA-Economics reports citing RBC that it was stated in the investigation of Aeroclub business travel agency.
The share of such tickets in March was 70%, and in April - 47%.
The results are based on an analysis of more than one million transactions conducted through the company in the first quarter and in April 2019, 2021, and April 2022.
"Since the end of February, a large influx of IT specialists has been observed. The most popular destinations were neighboring countries: Kazakhstan, Turkey, Uzbekistan, Israel, Armenia, Azerbaijan, and the United Arab Emirates. For example, the demand for housing in Israel in 2019 exceeded 73 percent. Most of the appeals were at the same time related to the IT-sphere,” the study notes.
