Berlin, the capital of Germany, hosted the 9th meeting of the Azerbaijan-Germany High-Level Working Group on Trade and Investments, APA-Economics reports citing the Ministry of Economy.
The meeting was co-chaired by Deputy Minister of Economy Sahib Mammadov from the Azerbaijani side and the Director of the Department of the Federal Ministry of Economics and Climate Protection of Germany, Dr. Dominic Schnichels.
The event hosted discussions on the strengthening of economic and trade relations between Azerbaijan and Germany, the possibility of participation of German companies in the industrial parks created in our country, in the Alat Free Economic Zone, the development of cooperation in the field of alternative energy, transport, and the expansion of experience exchange.
The meeting stressed that there is great potential for strengthening relations between Azerbaijan and Germany in trade, investment, entrepreneurship, transport, industry, and human resources and establishing partnerships in new directions. Business opportunities in Azerbaijan's liberated territories were highlighted, and German companies were invited to participate in infrastructure and investment projects.
