Azerbaijan's trade turnover with League of Arab States exceeds $ 570 mln

"The foreign trade turnover of Azerbaijan with the League of Arab States amounted to 570.8 million US dollars based on the 8-month indicators of 2022," said Nijat Hajizadeh, department head of the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communications, APA-Economics reports.

He noted that Tunisia (72.3%), the United Arab Emirates (13%), and Libya (4%) rank in the top three in terms of the highest share in foreign trade. Crude oil and oil products make up the majority of exports to these countries.

During the eight months of 2022, crude oil in the amount of 408.4 million US dollars was exported to Tunisia, while imports from that country amounted to 4.2 million dollars, 30% of which made dates.
