The European Council President Charles Michel is in Georgia. The plane landed in Tbilisi International Airport, APA's bureau in Georgia reports.
Charles Michel was met at the airport by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia Davit Zalkaliani, the Ambassador of the European Union to Georgia Carl Hartzell, and the Ambassador of Georgia to the European Union Natali Sabanadze.
Charles Michel has met with the President of Georgia Salome Zurabishvili, after which their joint statements will be made to the press.
The President of the European Council will also meet with Prime Minister Irakli Gharibashvili, the Speaker of the Parliament of Georgia Archil Talakvadze, as well as leaders of other political parties.
Charles Michel will visit the contact line. He will also attend the opening of a new office of the EU Delegation.
Charles Michelle will depart from Georgia on March 2.
