The Norwegian capital of Oslo has expanded on Tuesday the measures put in place to curb the rise of coronavirus infections amid a surge in new cases, APA reports citing Teletrader.

In addition to the previous restrictions, the authorities have announced all indoor leisure activities will be banned until Easter.

Camilla Stoltenberg, head of the country's Institute of Public Health, warned of "poor compliance" with the measures, especially among those the ages between 10 and 19.
