Restrictions lifted in Georgia’s Marneuli

The restrictions applied due to coronavirus in Georgia’s Marneuli region densely populated by Azerbaijanis will be lifted beginning from May 18, said Georgia’s Prime minister Giorgi Gakharia at the meeting of the Inter-institutional Coordination Agency, APA’s local bureau reports.

He said the entry to and exit from the region will be fully opened beginning from that date.

The Prime minister also noted that the two-way movement to Tbilisi City will be permitted beginning from May 11, while to Rustavi City and Gardabani region – beginning from May 14.

“Even after partial lifting of the restrictions, the application of curfew on the country’s territory will still be continued”, G. Gakharia said.
