The United Kingdom needs more than two million coronavirus vaccine doses to achieve a vaccination target set by the government, British Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for COVID-19 Vaccine Deployment Nadhim Zahawi stressed on Wednesday, APA reports citing Teletrader.
Speaking in an interview with Sky News, Zahawi claimed that Britons would see a "massive acceleration" in vaccination against COVID-19 this week. "It is a stretching target no doubt, but I'm confident that with this plan that the NHS has put together that we will deliver this," he underscored, adding that the country has administered 1.3 million doses so far.
