"Unfortunately, terrorism affects all countries, not recognizing borders. Türkiye is a country that knows well the bloody face of terrorism, where tens of thousands of its citizens are victims of terrorism," said Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan while delivering a speech at the Shanghai Cooperation Organization Summit in Samarkand, APA's Istanbul correspondent reports.
Erdogan noted that his country had been fighting terrorism for almost 40 years: "Even though we are left alone, our country resolutely continues to struggle against all forms of terrorism, including PKK, PYD/YPG, FETÖ, and ISIS."
