Junior doctors in England are set to go on strike from June 14 to 17 demanding full pay restoration, as announced by their union on Monday, APA reports citing Teletrader.
"Junior doctors deserve full pay restoration now – and the goal of this third round of industrial action is to force the Government to put forward a credible offer," the British Medical Association stated on its website.
The aim of this third round of industrial action is to pressure the ministers into granting physicians a 35% pay increase to offset the decline in the real value of their salaries over time.
