There were 988,710 doses of a Covid-19 vaccine recorded in the latest UK figures, APA reports citing BBC.
This includes 897,979 daily booster jabs or third doses, as well as 39,793 first and 50,938 second doses.
The weekend saw record-breaking numbers for the vaccine programme, with 1,024,833 doses recorded on Saturday - the highest single day so far - and 919,521 on Sunday.
Overall, nearly 30 million people in the UK have now had a booster or third dose of a Covid jab, which is 52% of the population aged over 12 who are eligible.
At the same time, 81.9% of people have had two jabs while nearly 89.6% have had one dose.
