Today, discussions begin to give Ukraine candidate status in the European Union (EU), APA reports.
The discussions that will begin in Brussels will be held in the form of debate.
Moldova and Georgia issues, which hope to join the EU, will also be discussed.
Following discussions until Friday, the European Commission will decide on its recommendations on June 17.
The final decision on the status of the candidates will be made at the EU summit on June 23-24.
Experts note that European commissioners may give the green light to Kyiv.
