Another wrestler of Azerbaijan namely Sabah Shariati started with a victory his participation in the European Championship held in Italy’s capital city of Rome, Apasport.az website reports.
The Greek-Roman style wrestler competing in 130 kg weight category defeated in his first encounter Armenia’s representative David Ovasapyan.
Our wrestler won victory over his rival in the encounter at 1/8 final round with a score of 3:0. Thanks to this victory Shariati won pass ticket to 1/4 final round.
Note that previously Sanan Suleymanov (77 kg) defeated the Armenian athlete representing Bulgaria.
