Azerbaijan’s foreign trade turnover decreases by up to 26%

In January-October of this year the volume of Azerbaijan’s foreign trade turnover decreased by 25,7% in comparison to the same months of 2019 and made up USD 21 001 379,8 thousand, APA-Economics reports citing State Customs Committee.

In the first ten months of this year Azerbaijan exported products worth USD 12 234 023,59 thousand to foreign countries, the volume of import was USD 8 767 356,16 thousand. As a result, there was a positive trade balance worth USD 466 667,4 thousand.

In comparison to the same months of the previous year in January-October of 2020, a positive balance of Azerbaijan’s foreign trade turnover decreased by 35,4%, export and import decreased by 27,3% and 23,5% respectively.
