“Volume of the capital invested by Russia in Azerbaijan’s economy is USD 4,9 bln.”, said Deputy Prime Minister, Co-chair of the Intergovernmenta Commission Shahin Mustafayev at the 18th meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation between Azerbaijan and Russia held in Baku.
According to him, Azerbaijan has invested USD 1,2 bln. in the economy of Russia so far.
Moreover, Deputy Prime minister noted that trade turnover between Azerbaijan and Russia incresed by 19% previous year, while it increased by 23% in 10 months of the current year.
“The measures are underway in order to develop economic relations between two countries and there are great opportunities for their expansion,” Sh. Mustafayev noted.
