Trade turnover between Azerbaijan and the USA decreased by 6.8% within January-May 2020 compared to the same period of the previous year and dropped to $ 366.01 million, "APA-Economics" reports citing the results of the calculations conducted by it on the basis of the indicators issued by the State Customs Committee.
During the first 5 months of this year, Azerbaijan’s exports to the USA fell by $ 180.23 thousand or 2.3% on an annual basis and amounted to $ 7.76 million while the country’s imports from the USA decreased by $ 26,49 million or 6.9% and equaled to $ 358.25 million.
As a result, Azerbaijan’s trade deficit with the USA made up $ 350.49 million, which is $ 26.49 million or 7% less than in the reporting period in 2019.
