Budget discussions start in Azerbaijani Parliament

The discussion of documents included State budget Envelope for 2020 has been started since today, APA reports.

The documents included in State budget Envelope have been discussed at a joint meeting of committees of Azerbaijani Parliament on Economic policy, industry and energy, Agrarian policy, defence, security and fight against corruption, Natural resources, Energy, Ecology and Committee on Public Associations and Religious organizations held today.

Alongside committee chairpersons and deputies of Azerbaijani Parliament, the representatives of relevant bodies are also attending the meeting.

Budget discussions of Labor and Social Policy, Health, Science and Education, Culture, Family, Women and Children committees of Milli Majlis are expected to continue at a joint meeting which will be held on November 6 and of Human Rights, Regional Issues, Law Policy and State Building, International Relations and Inter-parliamentary Relations, Youth and Sports committees on November 7.
The draft laws "On the state budget for 2020", "On the minimum living wage for 2020", "On the limit of the criterion of need for 2020", "On the budget of the State Social Protection Fund for 2020", the cost estimates of the Milli Majlis and the Chamber of Accounts for the next year are included in the budget envelopes.

Note that, Income of the state budget of Azerbaijan is expected to be 24 billion 484 million manats in 2020. The income of the summary budget revenues of next year is forecasted to amount to 27 billion 605 million 300 thousand manats and expenses are to be 28 billion 192 million manats.
