Consumers spend AZN 12B to foods and fuel

Baku. Agshin Rafigoglu - APA-Economics. In January-September 2016, the consumers were sold goods worth AZN 21.1 billion, up 2.3% from previous year.

According to the State Statistical Committee, sale on food products, drinks and tobacco products increased 3.1%, non-food products – 0.9%.

During the reporting period, 49.8% or AZN 10.51 billion of funds consumers spent in retail trade networks went to food products, drinks and tobacco products, 17.6% or AZN 3.76 billion to weaving products, clothes and shoes, 6.6% or AZN 1.39 billion to electrical goods and furniture, 5.7% or AZN 1.2 billion to motor fuel, 1.4% or AZN 0.3 billion to pharmacological and medical goods, 0.8% or AZN 0.17 billion to computers, telecommunication equipments and printing products, 18.1% or AZN 3.82 billion to other non-food products.
