In January-March of 2023, gross domestic product (GDP) amounted to AZN 30 310,6 million or 0,4% more in comparison to the relevant period of the previous year was produced in Azerbaijan, the State Statistics Committee told APA-Economics.
Added value in the oil and gas sector of the economy decreased by 3,9%, however, in the non-oil sector it increased by 4,9 percent.
47,5 % of GDP production fell on the share of industry, 9 % to trade; repair of transport vehicles, 5,4 % to transportation and warehousing, 2,6% to agriculture, forestry, and fisheries, 5% to construction, 1,9% to the accommodation of tourists and public catering, 1,5% to information and communication fields, while 17,6% to other fields.
Net taxes on products and imports accounted for 9,5% of GDP.
During the year, the value of GDP per capita in the country remained unchanged at AZN 2,991.
