“During the two years, AZN 6.5 bln. was allocated from the state budget for the restoration of the liberated areas from the occupation,” said Azerbaijan’s Minister of Finance Samir Sharifov at the meeting on the finals of 2022, APA-Economics reports.
“In the second year of the restoration and reconstruction of the liberated areas from the occupation, a total AZN 4 bln. 315 mln. was allocated from the state budget for 2022, for the restoration of the liberated areas. For these purposes, the initially projected 2 billion 670 million manat funds have been increased by more than 60 percent. It was possible on account of agile management of the funds in the state budget of the last year. In general, during 2 years, AZN 5.5 bln. were financed from the state budget for the restoration and reconstruction of the liberated areas alone,” stressed the minister.
